As we close out November, we’re taking a moment to reflect on everything our team accomplished over the past few weeks.
Between project completions, new installs, site visits, and a few fun additions to the JD family, this month has been one of momentum, creativity, and connection.
Here’s a detailed look at what November brought to our workshop, our clients, and our team.
✔️ Three Major Projects Completed
One of the most exciting parts of this month was wrapping up three beautiful custom cabinetry projects. Each project came with its own design challenges, unique character, and rewarding final reveal.
Project Campbellford: This project allowed our team to work closely with the homeowners to create a space that is timeless, functional, and inviting. From layout adjustments to custom solutions, the final result within the kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room and primary closet reflects craftsmanship that will last for years.
Project Church: Blending modern elements with warm finishes, this project focused on creating balance. The final kitchen design highlights clean lines, refined materials, and thoughtful detailing that came together to complete a space that feels both modern and comfortable.
Project Fralicks: This install emphasized clean design and practical functionality. The kitchen was designed to suit the clients traditional taste and was beautifully crafted and installed - creating a harmonious finally.

Completing these three projects has been a major highlight of the month, and we can’t wait to share full galleries as photography rolls out.
🐾 New Additions to the Farm Family
November also brought some heart-warming changes outside the workshop.
We welcomed two new farm cats to the JD family: Enchilada and her baby Pico. These two quickly settled in, spending their days exploring, “supervising” the yard, and charming everyone who visits. They’ve already become unofficial morale boosters around here.
And in the spirit of transformations, our beloved Bernese Mountain Dog, Rundle, got a fresh new haircut that had us all doing double-takes. With his sleek new look, he’s been affectionately nicknamed our honorary Rottweiler. Needless to say, he’s been very proud of the attention but maybe a little embarrassed of his new doo.

📍 A Month of Site Visits
In addition to work happening in the shop, our team spent a good portion of November on the road, checking in on several active projects.
One of our bigger trips took us to Ottawa, where we visited Project Bayview. It was great being able to chat with the clients and go over their wants and needs for each space! As this is a rather large project, we wanted to ensure these clients felt that their hopes for the space were coming across, that meant that making the trip out there essential for us!
We also checked in on Project Bain in Toronto, another project that’s developing steadily. When having sites that are further away from us we want to ensure that the installation will run smoothly - this means making the time to go out and check in on the process of these projects before we install! During this site visit we checked measurements and checked in with the homeowner on the process of the rest of renovations! Our design team has been heavily involved in not only the cabinetry but in selecting key details such a countertops, hardware, paint colours, lighting and other fixtures!
🔨 New Installs Underway
November also marked the start of installations for several exciting new projects:
Project Cochrane
Project Wicklow
Project Bloemenweg
Each of these homes brings something unique to the table, different styles, materials, challenges, and opportunities. Watching the first pieces go in is always a rewarding milestone, and we’re looking forward to seeing these projects evolve as we move into the new year.
Looking Ahead
As we prepare for the final month of the year, we’re feeling grateful. Grateful for our clients, for our hardworking team, and for the moments that make each month memorable.
November was a busy one, but it was filled with progress, creativity, and plenty of personality (thanks, Rundle).
We’re excited to carry this momentum into December and continue bringing thoughtful, high-quality cabinetry to life in homes across Ontario.
